Hi,
we don't have a Forum for suggestions, so I thought it wouldn't hurt if there was a thread for suggestions.

What I really find disturbing is the monster shortage in Rebirth.
A whole lot of eleven monster classes was removed (Zombies, Fallens, Scavengers, Bats, Magma Demons, Thunder Demons, Charger, Balrogs, Snakes, Mages and with the latest update the Incinerators). Second point is that most of the monsters don't have any or only few subclasses. 14 out of 25 Classes don't have any subclass.

There have been added several new classes from Hellfire or hidden classes from Diablo, so that now there are more classes than in regular Diablo, but still I miss the old monsters, because in Rebirth you don't have a great variety. For example in the Caves you can almost bet that you will meet Fetus Laments, because in total there are 11 different monsters, which can occur in the caves, while in regular Diablo the number is 31!

I really find it interesting what has been done with the new monster classes, but I'd just love to see more different species. Smile

This is a good suggestion. If you could keep all of the new monsters and choose from one or two of those, and also choose from one or two of the old monsters for a level, I think that that would be best.

It` very difficult to add stuff without replace some other. I have not the source code, badly. By the way, I think I can do something for this, and I will surely work on this "monstrous" lack GhGh

It would be really nice improvement, as you meet still the same monsters in hell all the time in every game (so far I was only able to meet 6 different monsters on dlvs 13-15, and 3 of them were of the same class). If theres a problem increasing their diversity, then they should at least be more randomized.

Hm, it seems to me, that there are plenty of monster slots which are not used ingame. Do you use them for other stuff? Look
