I dunno. Yes, most of people use apocalypse with the hotkey bug. Some think play legit is play fair, others think play legit is play the game as it are.

But Arcane of Mind can recharge spells, people that lvl-up at catacombs have a lot of it.
So a rush with 6 good apoca, would be the same thing to the unfair bug.
Think about 8/8 apoca staves. It means 48/48, only one mind, gives u another 48/48. So u have a 96/96.
With 96 charges u can kill something like lvl 13-15 without the need of going town.

Of course not everyone has 6 apoca, many don't have any one.

But I've seen mages and rogue, even warriors doing the same bug with flamedart.

If the unfair is the bug, so flamedart should be removed too.
If the unfair play is sorcerors level-uping very fast considering other classes, I don't think so as many Warriors and Rogues ask the Sorcerors to lvl up with them.

So or u remove apoca and flamedart, and NO STAFF's SPELL AT ALL, only scrolls or u leave apoca as it are.

Btw I don't mind which of them u will choose.

I am not aware of this 'loop apoc bug', but if it exists and if it's possible to use it with Flamedart, then the weapon SHOULD REALLY be taken away. I agree with you, D4mn3d. The analysis you did about mind relics is very correct too.

Hey, can anybody explain, what is actually wrong with Apoc?
Btw, I'd rather turn the runes into sale-only-items, so that you won't find them, but still can buy them for a very high price and only after you have reached clvl 40 or something.

well this is what i think apoco makes the game Way Way WAY to easy dont you think, it kills every demon/monster in 1 hit except for boss demons/monsters takes about 6,7 max maybe. i actually think its best, lets just put it this way it makes the game more of a challange lets try and keep it that way Razz

i think:

even if you delete apo from rex or not - ppl will cheat EVER - anyway.

so what you want to do then ?delete all items ?

come on man - pls let apo in the game ! just tell me - what is a diablo1-remake without apo?

i think it should stay because it was ever a real special and wonderful part of diablo1 !

i think too that you can find other ways to clean out the apo-bug and bring ppl to play legit ....

how you want to do 30 charges whith that ?

@ endurio:

and even when...thats not the question...the question is how to get the charges-bug out of flamedart !

btw...what helps the bug to cast 7-8 mind traphole charges @ one and the same place? i think that was not the basic-idea
of flamedart...

will mean:

i think labiri wanted to make a flamedart which has 5 charges with what you can cast only 5 charges - not more...

but the problem is that flamedart's spells are very buggy...

i think a flamedart with 5/5 charges and only one real cast/charge is ok


but all in all labiri has to know what happens with mind traphole and the flamedart.

Labiri you must remove Flamedart - that idiots are still doing this - this time with flamedart not apo staff. flamedart is now most wanted item in Reb... :( All lamers - dont be noobs, play fair!
